How many do I need? The Rochester Model 220 (V6/V8) has 2 injectors per throttle body. The Model 300 (2.5L Iron Duke) has 1 injector. Marine TBI units (Mercruiser 4.3L/5.0L/5.7L) use 2 injectors per unit. Order 2 kits for most V6/V8 and marine applications, 1 kit for the Iron Duke.

Compatibility

GM used Rochester TBI across a massive range of trucks, vans, and passenger cars from the early 1980s through the mid-1990s. The same Rochester injector body was also used in Mercruiser's first-generation TBI marine engines. Same seal dimensions across all three model families.

Note: The Rochester TBI-220 and marine Mercruiser TBI injectors use the same physical housing and o-ring dimensions, but they are calibrated at different fuel pressures (automotive: ~12 psi, marine: ~38 psi) and have different flow rates. The seal kit fits both — just note that marine injectors are NOT interchangeable with automotive units even if they share o-ring dimensions.
