Frequently Asked Questions

How much does fuel injector cleaning cost?
Our pricing is $30 per injector for standard MPFI top-feed injectors and $35 per injector for everything else (side feed, GDI, TBI, marine, etc.). There's a flat $35 shipping and insurance fee on every order, and a 4-injector minimum service charge applies. For a typical 4-cylinder car with standard injectors, you're looking at $155 total: cleaning, flow testing, new O-rings, and insured shipping both ways included.
Is it cheaper to clean or replace fuel injectors?
Almost always cheaper to clean. New injectors run anywhere from $50–$200+ each depending on the application, and that's before labor if you're having a shop install them. A full set of 4 cleaned by us costs $155 total. Professional cleaning is the smart first step. If flow testing shows an injector can't be restored, then you replace just that one.
What's included in a fuel injector cleaning service?
Everything. Ultrasonic cleaning, backflushing, before-and-after flow testing (static and dynamic), leak testing, spray pattern inspection, new O-rings and micro-filter baskets (where available), and a detailed Injector Performance Report. Insured shipping both ways is included in the flat $35 fee. There are no hidden costs.
Is professional ultrasonic cleaning better than fuel additive cleaners?
They're not even in the same category. Fuel additives can help with light surface deposits if you use them regularly, but they can't reach hardened buildup inside the nozzle or pintle area. Ultrasonic cleaning physically breaks apart deposits using cavitation: microscopic bubbles that implode on every surface of the injector. If your injectors are actually dirty enough to cause symptoms, a $10 bottle from the auto parts store isn't going to fix it.
